Suggested Purchase Orders

storq.io can suggest which products need reordering based on their reorder point and current stock level.

How It Works

Each product has an optional Reorder Point field. When the total stock across all locations falls below this number, the product is flagged as low stock and appears on the reorder suggestions page.

Viewing Suggestions

1. Go to Purchase Orders.
2. Click Reorder Suggestions.

The page lists every product where current stock is below the reorder point. For each product you see:

• Product name and SKU
• Current stock level
• Reorder point
• Shortfall (how many units below the reorder point)
• Suggested order quantity (brings stock up to double the reorder point)

Creating a PO from a Suggestion

Click Create PO next to a product to start a new purchase order pre-filled with that product and the suggested quantity. Select a supplier and warehouse, then submit as usual.

Setting Reorder Points

To enable suggestions for a product, edit the product and enter a value in the Reorder Point field. Products without a reorder point are not included in suggestions.
