Stock Takes

A stock take is a systematic check of your physical inventory against what the system records. Regular stock takes keep your data accurate.

How to Run a Stock Take

1. Click Stock Takes in the sidebar.
2. Click New Stock Take.
3. Select the Warehouse and optionally filter by location.
4. The system generates a list of products and their expected quantities.
5. Walk through the warehouse and enter the actual count for each item.
6. When finished, click Complete.

storq.io will highlight any discrepancies and can automatically create adjustments to bring the system in line with the physical count.

Tips

• Run stock takes during quiet periods when no goods are being received or shipped.
• Start with a small area if a full warehouse count feels overwhelming.
