Platform Overview
storq.io is a warehouse management system that helps you track inventory, process orders, manage suppliers, and ship products. It is built for small to mid-sized warehouses that need a simple, reliable tool without enterprise complexity.
Who Is It For?
storq.io is designed for warehouse staff, operations managers, and small business owners. You do not need any technical knowledge to use the dashboard. There is also a full API for developers who want to integrate with other systems.
Key Concepts
Warehouses and Locations
A warehouse is a physical building where you store stock. Inside each warehouse you create locations - zones, aisles, shelves, and bins - so every item has a specific place.
Products
A product is anything you store and sell. Each product has a name, SKU, and barcode. You can track stock levels, set low-stock alerts, import products in bulk via CSV, and enable lot or serial number tracking for batch traceability and expiry management.
Orders and Fulfillment
An order is a customer request for products. Orders move through a workflow: pending, picking, packing, shipped. Each step is handled by the appropriate team member. When an order ships, an invoice is generated automatically.
B2B Customer Portal
Give your B2B customers a branded self-serve portal where they can browse your product catalogue, place orders, view invoices, and pay online via Stripe. Each customer gets their own login with per-customer pricing.
Invoicing and Payments
Invoices are created automatically when orders ship. Connect your Stripe account to accept online payments, generate payment links, and let customers pay through the portal. Tax rates can be configured per country, with automatic reverse charge for cross-border B2B sales.
Purchasing
Create purchase orders for your suppliers and track them from draft through to fully received. storq.io can suggest reorder quantities based on your configured reorder points.
Returns
Process returns against shipped orders. Inspect returned items, mark their condition, and choose whether to reinstate them into stock.
Stock Movements
Every time stock enters, leaves, or moves within your warehouse, storq.io records it. This includes goods in (receiving), transfers between locations, adjustments, stock takes, and shipments.
Notifications and Integrations
Stay informed with in-app notifications for low stock alerts, order updates, and team changes. Use the API and webhooks to integrate storq.io with your other systems.
