Creating Warehouses

A warehouse represents a physical location where you store inventory. You can create as many warehouses as you need.

How to Create a Warehouse

1. Click Warehouses in the sidebar.
2. Click the New Warehouse button.
3. Enter a Name (for example, "Main Warehouse" or "London Distribution Centre").
4. Enter a short Code (for example, "MAIN" or "LDC"). The code is used in location labels.
5. Click Create Warehouse.

Managing Warehouses

From the warehouses list you can click any warehouse to see its details, edit its name or code, or manage the locations inside it.

Tips

• Use short, memorable codes. They appear on location labels and barcodes.
• If you only have one building, one warehouse is enough. You can always add more later.
